Although California Law allows the cultivating and selling of Marijuana, Federal Law prohibits it. Yeah, I know, definitely a WTF? I know people who have Medical Marijuana cards, and some who were thinking of opening shops to sell it to card holders. Well according to AP, the Feds aren’t having that shit:

The owner of a Morro Bay medical marijuana dispensary has been convicted on federal drug distribution counts. Charles Lynch was found guilty on Tuesday of distributing more than 100 kilos of marijuana, some of it to minors. The 46-year-old man’s Los Angeles trial dramatized the conflict in state and federal marijuana laws.

Lynch, owner of Central Coast Compassionate Caregivers, faces five to 85 years in federal prison.

Cultivating, using and selling medical pot to authorized patients is allowed under California law. But federal law outlaws marijuana cultivation, use and sales.

Additionally, according to the San Diego Union-Tribune, the feds raided four dispensaries there!

Drug Enforcement Administration and county Narcotics Task Force agents served search warrants at Answerdam on Convoy Court, Plan B Coastal Care Group on Adams Avenue, Chronic Care Providers on Daggett Street and Safe California Access on Murphy Canyon Road. Three men, ages 59, 35 and 26, were arrested at three of the businesses on suspicion of marijuana sales and possession for sale, DEA spokeswoman Eileen Zeidler said.

Apparently, Terrorism takes a back seat to the comfort of Senior Military officials. Over the past three years, the Air Force has attempted to divert $16.2 Million Dollars in counterterrorism funds on “comfort capsules”(pictured above) for military planes used by senior officers and civilian leaders. Congress twice told them no, but guess what. They said F… Congress and spent $331,000 on them anyway!

Senior Leader Intransit Comfort Capsules, or SLICC are described as “aesthetically pleasing and furnished to reflect the rank of the senior leaders using the capsule,” with beds, a couch, a table, a 37-inch flat-screen monitor with stereo speakers, and a full-length mirror.

Although no more counterterrorism funds are supposed to be used for the project, it will still cost US 7.6 Million dollars to make 3 of these! 3!, Yes, i said 3! Can anyone else think of better ways to spend $7.6 million taxpayer dollars? Welcome to Amerikkka, where Generals, Colonels, and Politicians comfort is more important than all else.

Valerie Plame was an undercover CIA agent (whose covert identity was classified) whose husband, Joseph Wilson, was sent to Niger to validate the Bush Administrations claim that Saddam was buying enriched Uranium Yellowcake, which could be used for weapons of mass destruction. This claim by the Bush Crime Family leading up to the Iraq War, was central in convincing Congress, the UN, and the American people that Saddam in fact did have WMD’s. Which we ALL know now that he did not. Well when Joseph Wilson contradicted the Bush administration’s claims and said that there was no deal in place for Saddam to buy enriched Uranium from Niger, the Bush administration responded by outing his wife (Valerie Plame), an active, undercover CIA agent, exposing her as such, blowing her cover, and putting her life in danger. Oh and by the way, doing so is an act of treason, punishable by death.

When initially confronted about the leak, The Bush Crime Family denied any involvement. President Chucklenuts went on to say

“It’s best people wait until the investigation is complete before you jump to conclusions. I don’t know all the facts. I want to know all the facts,” Bush said. “I would like this to end as quickly as possible. If someone committed a crime, they will no longer work in my administration.”

When later asked at a June 10, 2004 news conference if he stood by his pledge to fire anyone found to have leaked Plame’s name, Bush answered, “Yes. And that’s up to the U.S. attorney to find the facts.”

Then, according to “Scooter Libby”, Chief of Staff to Vice prick Dick Cheney, Bush himself authorized the leaks!

Today, after saying in 04 “It’s up to the US Attorney to find the facts”, President Chucklenuts blocked Congress access to an FBI interview with Vice President Dick Cheney and other records related to the administration’s leak of CIA operative Valerie Plame’s identity in 2003.

Do i have to spell it out? These assholes committed treason, and are openly covering it up. What’s worse is our Democratic majority in the House and Senate are doing nothing about it. We all know what liars, cheats, and thieves are in the Bush Crime Family so nothing they do, no matter how “two middle fingers up” it is to the American people, we expect it from these crooks. But ANY Democrat who stands by and does nothing is just as guilty, none more than Nancy Pelosi. Dennis Kucinich is the ONLY true American in Washington, and none of these cowardly Democrats have the sac to defend and support him. Screw them all.

The editor should be fired. Anyone of African-American descent working for them should resign. I’m so damn pissed by this I can’t even really comment. What pisses me off even more is that these assholes tried to defend it. Here’s what they said

I say bullshit. there is a political agenda behind this. It’s inflammatory, and racist at best. What is behind Michelle Obama having an afro? An AK-47? Fatigues? Also, if you read the article it isn’t a positive one at all. Which of course is the writer’s right. But you cannot use the excuse that the cover is “lampooning” all the lies about the Obama’s to show how absurd they are if the article isn’t positive. Doesn’t make any sense. That’s not how satire works. All this cover will do is re-inforce the Republican lies being spread about Obama “hating America”, being muslim, etc.

You may have heard of Rev. John Hagee, the McCain supporter who said God created Hurricane Katrina to punish New Orleans for its homosexual “sins.” Well now meet Rev. Rod Parsley, the televangelist megachurch pastor from Ohio who hates Islam. According to David Corn of Mother Jones, Parsley has called on Christians to wage war against Islam, which he considers to be a “false religion.” In the past, Parsley has also railed against the separation of church and state, homosexuals, and abortion rights, comparing Planned Parenthood to Nazis.

John McCain actively sought and received Parsley’s endorsement in the presidential race. McCain has called Parsley “a spiritual guide,” and he hasn’t said whether he shares Parsley’s vicious anti-Islam views. That’s because the mainstream media refuses to ask.

After discussing Obama’s former pastor, Rev. Wright, for the last 2 months, with it being the lead story on every show all day long on Fox News Channel and CNN for weeks, replaying video of his controversial remarks over and over ad nauseum, taking the first 10-15 minutes of the most recent Democratic debate to discuss Rev. Wright, wouldn’t you think they would spend 5 minutes on McCain’s two controversial “Spiritual Advisors”?

Since the media won’t question McCain about his deeply bigoted pastor, it’s up to you to call attention to this issue. Make McCain’s pastor problem a major story by forwarding these videos to your family, friends, and colleagues.

What happened to innocent until proven guilty? I understand a policeman was recently murdered in Philly. I also understand that these men were fleeing, and suspects in a murder. Given those facts, I expect the police to respond in force as they did, but not with the force they did. Once dragged from their vehicle, the suspects were not resisting, but were hit with batons and kicked repeatedly. One officer even after kicking one suspect, runs over to another suspect who was already subdued and kicked him. This was definitely a case of excessive force.
